Storm of Steel, a role-playing game about infantry combat in WW2, is available at drivethrurpg, as a pay-what-you-want download.
The game aims at providing a vivid experience of the battlefield, with bullets flying around, mortar fire everywhere and the vicious rattle of machine guns. With a simple and elegant system to simulate the thrill of combat, the rulebook covers infantry, artillery and tanks, including rules for morale, command and leadership.
This is actually a revised and expanded version of Stalingrad. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to play-test some of the additions to the system, nor I could afford professional illustration and editing. Please, accept my apologies for any typo you might find. Any feedback is more than welcome.
